Just as I was about to throttle the next door neighbour's cat on Sun, 15 Sep
1996 22:01:36 +0800, The One <theone@cyberway.com.sg> distracted me by babbling
thus:

>Take five minutes to read this and it WILL change your life.
>
> I just read an article in an internet newsgroup describing how
> to make $50,000.00 in only one month from a $5.00 investment.

What? This crap got posted over to aus.electronics as well?
Aaaaiiiieeeeeeeee!!!! No, wait. I see it's relevant after all. It's not a
pyramid scam after all. Just read the message header. It's all quite clear now:
"make 50k in one month". Of course - that's it! I can make a 50k resistor in
just one month! Gee, seems inefficient when I can just go and buy one.....
---
After clicking on seven pull-down menus and clicking [OK],
this thing still asks me "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CONTINUE?"
No, you stupid machine.... I had a spasm, so it was all a mistake.
Duh.
