Hi

Two weeks ago I bought a video/TV/capture card
from Frank's Compware.

Teppro ET6000/TV/Capture combo card

Fault information
*****************
The TV on the card works OK but I bought it to use the
video capture capabilities. I have a video camera
and I want to video conference with my brother in London.

When the card is in capture mode the image the card puts
on the screen looks fine but when I do a single
frame capture 50% of captures only get the top half
of the image. In Microsoft Netmeeting 50% of the time
the preview screen only shows the top half of the screen
and people at the other end complain about only being
able to see my hair. It cuts my image off at forehead level.

When I try to adjust the video quality in Microsoft
Netmeeting V2, I get the following general protection
fault:

CONF caused an invalid page fault in
module NAC.DLL at 0137:6b00b430.

and when I try and shut the computer down.

I hit Close and it loops me back into windows
If I Ctl/Alt/Del and select shut down it displays
the same message as above and when I hit close
it gives me a blue screen error that says

"A fatal exception 0D has occurred at 115F:000068E7
the current application will be terminated."

Then

"A fatal exception 0D has occured at 0028F:00000017
the current application will be terminated."

Then I mush reset the computer as Ctl/Alt/Del does
nothing.

System Details:
***************
IntelP166MMX/AopenAP5T-2/32mbSdram/3com3c509
ess1868soundcard/3.2GbIBMdeskstarHDD/ps2mouse

the driver I am using is the updated one:
Tseng Labs ET6000 PCI Ver 4.03.3600

the card is using the following system rescorces:
IRQ15,
io ports 3B0h-3BBh, 3C0h-3DFh, 6400h-64FFh.
upper memory usage A0000h-AFFFFh, B0000h-BFFFFh,
C0000h-CFFFFh, E0000000h-E0FFFFFFh.
there are no rescorce conflicts.

I have tried:
-both windows 95 ver 4.00.950 and 4.00.95b
-changing irq's
-a different camera/video sorce(VCR)
-using640x480>256>16bit>24bit
this card will not capture in any resolution higher
than 640x480.

Solutions?
**********
Should I buy another mainboard, with different chipset?
If I upgrade the video memory from 2 to 4Mb will it help?
Does anyone else have experience with this card?
Could the card be faulty?
Should I change my PCI bus speed from 66Mhz?
Should I sell the card and find a better quality one?

Thankyou for any help/suggestions
