Hi,
I am looking for some software that will enable someone to dialin to a
computer (i.e. a modem-modem connection, not internet) and monitor a webcam
connected to that computer. I want the computer with the webcam to be able
to operate with no human intervention whatsoever. Could anyone suggest any
software? All the webcam software I've found is for internet streaming. I
would prefer to send say one medium quality image every 4 seconds, rather
than one bad quality image every 0.5 seconds. The modems will be standard
56k.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

- Patrick

Not sure of your application and whether the cam has to be attached to the
PC, but have you thought of using something like one of the Axis webcams
that you can attach a modem to?

Good luck

Roger
