I am experiencing difficulty in getting my cd burning programme (Easy cd Creator - Platinum version 5.1) to recognise the cd writer (Kodak external model ). When I attempt to record either copying disc to disc or from data files to disc I receive a message that there is no supporting cd recorder connected. I have checked all of the connections which appear to be sound and I have reinstalled the software burning programme, all to no avail. I have also tried an alternative burning programme, Nero Burning, still without success. My O/S is Windows 98 SE. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong.
