FAKE CACHE - INFO WANTED I'm writing an article for a UK computer magazine on Fake Cache and need more information, on the following.... Information from people who have brought machines with 256k cache and later found out it was false, what happened?? Problems with suppliers of the fake cache Any action taken against stores or suppliers and what happened. (I believe there was a raid in new zealand????) Programs (shareware or freeware) to go onto a cover disk to detect fake cache Basically I want any information I can get, also information on any other fake chips apart from the WRITE BACK ones, eg any markings.. I wouldn't be surprised if they're advanced to using faulty real ones by now. I also need to know how big the problem is (I believe it's probably about 30% of the 486 market at least) What motherboard (description of). Please EMAIL me, I will put together a FAQ when I'm finished. Thanks in advance Matthew McDonald no sig is a good sig . . . . . . . . . . .
