G'day

I have the GSA 4120B DVD Burner
It works Great.
I check the Bios and the DMA is set to DMA Mode 2
Right Setting
But
In Withdows XP It doesn't setup as DMA Mode 2 but has
DMA If Available "NOT Applicable"
I tried Updating / Removing drivers but with no luck

Any Info would be gratefully Accepted

you could try the following.

disconnect any other drive on the same controller, could be causing
probs. then see what you get.

or

try uninstalling the channel from the IDE controller and restarting and
see if winblows gets it right that time. (worked for me before)
