I'd like to have a java app where the main window is on top of other applications even when it has lost focus (ie always on top). Is there an easy way to do this, I presume there is a method relating to a frame. Note: I'm using Java version 1.17 as I'm writing for Windows and Mac OS; not professionly, purely for interest. Also what would be the best way to distribute an application. I presume that the classes can be wrapped in an archive but what about the java runtime environment. Is this being distributed along with OSs or must a user download this from SUN or Apple etc. When I've loaded my java development software the JRE of course loads automatically with it. Thanks in advance Ross
