Hello all, I am writing a program, and I have to write some objects to disk. This is not the problem. I am having troubles with the file dialog. I can get it up and get files from it, but I cannot add my own filters to the dialog. The API states that 'setFilenameFilter' should only allow certain files to show, but it does not seem to work. I know that the 'FilenameFilter' object code that I have written works as it works in limiting the standard file read-outs using 'File'. Why isn't it working ? Even then I am not sure that I am doing the correct thing as I also want to display the filter in the file dialog and this method does not seem to do this. Is it possible to do this ? Any anwsers would be very helpful. Thanx for your time, (: Best Regards Anywhere :) Brenden Bain <brenden.bain@studentmail.newcastle.edu.au>
