Hi, i've written a swing-based applet using jdk1.1.6. It worked both with appletviewer (working both over the network and from the local file system). and with Netscape navigator with the JFC/Swing release. Then I downloaded the JRE 1.2. with appletviewer there still is no problem, neither from network (downloading it via http) nor from the local file system. Netscape Navigator has no prblems with executing any other Swing - based Applet from the Java Tutorial. But with my applet, Netscape Communicator 4.5, using JRE 1.2, loading the applet for the first time gives: ****START OF ERROR ONE IN JAVA CONSOLE Netscape Communications Corporation -- Java 1.1.5 Type '?' for options.
