Anthony, I'm not sure there's any easy way to communicate between a Delphi client and a Java server with RMI, but maybe you could consider a SOAP-based solution. That way you could use XML as the means of serializing the objects that you want to port between the client and server. This kind of approach is a little more forward-looking as it enables you a little more flexibility in the final outcome. SOAP is something that both Delphi and Java will understand.
