Hi,
Sorry, I just couldn't resist a plug; I wrote a simple, small java IDE
last year for a holiday project.

<HYPE>
The Deja Java Development Environment is a small, fast Java code editor.
It has:
*) full as-you-type automatic indenting
*) coloured code formatting (as per most IDEs :)
*) 'autoformat' makes a best-guess attempt to indent code automatically
*) compiles with the touch of a button - no more mucking about with dos!
*) automatically generates HTML for applets, including parameter tags
*) 1024-level undo/redo
*) right-button context menu lets you jump to any method within the file -
handles nested classes too! :)
</HYPE>
OK, enough... you get the idea... :)
Anyway, if you want to try it, go to
tartarus.uwa.edu.au/~fractoid/programming/download.html and it should be
there (along with much other fun stuff :)
Enjoy! :)
Quin
