You need to change settings for your project to reflect these new classes and the file output type I think your problem is you haven't changed these settings to reflect your sources. So what you need to do is add your source files, remove the placeholder files, Add your HTML file to the project and remove the present HTML file from the project. Then open the project Preferences and adjust your Java output setting so that the Jar or Class output is the same as your HTML file and that the file name is what you want Hope this helps, if not send me your project and sources and I'll see if I can sort it out. Ron The error means the appletviewer was not able to find a class file named 'ClickMe.class'. Make sure this class file exists and check your applet tag to make sure you're not missing a codebase or archive parameter (the applet stationery in CodeWarrior outputs the class files to a folder named 'Java Classes' which is at the same level as the html doc. In this case, your applet tag will require a codebase parameter) Pedro. Dude thanks for your help, now my problem is that you used too many big words that I didn't quite understand. I tried following Ron's advice but got a bit lost (I am not a total thicky all the time). He said to try changing the project preferences but i am not sure exactly what to. I tried changing the settings under Target Settings\linker\java output, I left output type as it was (Class Folder) but changed the name to the same name as the html tag and also tried the actual name of the class as stated in the tag, didnt make any difference. any further guidance would be appreciated. Tim
