adding the temperature & time

Would an applet be what I would use to add the temperature. Has anyone added the temp to
your site?

I also need to add the time using a digital clock, not too ugly! I need to be able to set
the time for each state on different pages.

Any advice is appreciated.

I've been to developer.com and javaboutique and got some clock scripts, but not too sure
how to open the .class file and place into the HTML.

Thanks
