I get a <p-implied> tag in my html code this happens when I insert a base
tag into a htmlDocument I have no idea what it does or why it is there, can
anyone tell me why it is there, and how to stop it being put in

This is the code I am using to insert the <BASE> tag into the document

     // Iterate through the elements of the HTML document.
     ElementIterator it = new ElementIterator(doc);
     javax.swing.text.Element elem;
     elem = it.first();
     while ((elem = it.next()) != null)

       if (HTML.Tag.HEAD.equals(HTML.getTag (elem.getName())))

         SimpleAttributeSet tag = new SimpleAttributeSet();
         SimpleAttributeSet s = new SimpleAttributeSet();
         s.addAttribute(HTML.Attribute.HREF,urlBase.trim());
         tag.addAttribute(HTML.Tag.BASE,s);
         doc.insertString(elem.getEndOffset()," ",tag);
       }
     }

thanks for you help in advance.
