Hello fellow developers,

I am rather new to Java development and have recently finished
developing a Java applet that uses a Swing (JFC) GUI. Using SDK 2, I
can get it running perfectly under the appletviewer, however whenever I
attempt to run it in either Netscape or IE 4 with the Java 2 Plug-in
installed, I get the following:

"Applet jewpApplet error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
javax/swing/JApplet"

Does this mean the the Java 2 plug-in does not include the swing
classes? If not how can I get around this?

I would appreciate any advice or help on this.

cheers,
Adrian
