How do I implement a KeyListener event to trap function keys (say F1 for
help) in a java dos application and peform some action?
I found this demo code, but generates weird errors (using MS VJ++ 6.0):
class MyKeyListener implements KeyListener{
keyTyped(KeyEvent e){
if (e.getKeyCode() == KeyEvent.VK_ENTER) {
// do something
}
}
}
Thoughts?

FYI, http://java.sun.com
I have found that 'clones' of the JDK [such as blackdown.org's Java
port] don't handle keylisteners overly nicely :((

Understatement!

VJ++ isn't very JDK compatible. So don't be suprised when it doesn't
work ;)
Continuing on what was mentioned about, ignore VJ++, it is a corruption
of the java language. Use JDK! Sun have release Java Workshop 3 for
free. I *purchased* JWS 2.0 and I love it to death. Now my only problem
is I don't use windows much anymore!
