Hello everybody,

for an assignment I've to make a program which uses sound and movies. But
with JAVA I can only play *.au files and emblaze files. But I don't have
that, only wave, midi and mpg files. So I thougt I could use a externel
program like mediaplayer, but I don't know how to do that.
I hope anyone of you out there knows.

To learn how to invoke external programs from Java,
read the manual for java.lang.Runtime.
You can use Runtime.getRuntime.exec(...).
