Hello,

You may be interested in testing or contributing to Surabaya
(http://surabaya.sourceforge.net), an open source Java collaboration
program. In addition to messaging it has features such as shared
whiteboard, built-in Web browser with co-browsing, and a shared
desktop where someone can drag/drop files from Explorer, and online
users will see the new file right away.

You can download Surabaya from Sourceforge
(http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=90672).
Currently there are 4 files released, server.jar, client.jar,
setup.exe and
src.jar. On Unix or Windows you can run server by typing java -jar
server.jar. To install client on Windows run setup.exe. Then run
client from Start menu and connect to the server by entering the host
and port. For Unix simply download client.jar and type java -jar
client.jar. Default connection is to localhost 8888. The full Java
source is in src.jar. Let me know if you have questions, problems or
