Hi there, after installing j2sdk1.4.0_02 at /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0_02 for rh80, I can not enable environment variable for all normal users in system. I only can set up specifically for each user by appending: export PATH=$PATH:/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0_02 in .bash_profile any help out there which can help me setup once using broadly in system. thanks and cheers dphan

If you want a global variable why not just add it to the default profile /etc/profile -- remember this is the sequence of events, in no particular order Registered Linux User 282072 <www.volutin.net -- everything irrelevant>
