Hi, this post is just to see if any developers are out there who would be
interested in working in North Sydney for an interactive team within Euro
RSCG. Even though Euro is an advertising agency, we are developing
e-relationship platforms within our software development unit which are all
written using Java, XML and XSL.

I have appended the job description so you can get an idea of what Euro
Interactive is on about... basically, its chilled out, you wear what you
like, work the hours you want, learn new stuff and experiment with any
technologies that take your fancy and still get paid well for it. There are
some great opportunities available, so if you're interested - please drop me
a line...

Regards,
Joe Cincotta
Technical Director
Euro RSCG Partnership

Job Description
Senior Java/JSP Developers

Overview
Euro RSCG Interactive is looking for a motivated Java developer with solid
industry experience. Someone who is a great team player, who can handle the
demands of tight deadlines, and who is not afraid to push their skills to
the limit.

Company Profile
Euro RSCG is the fifth largest worldwide network of advertising agencies -
in fact our Interactive network is the largest in the world. The Interactive
department of Euro RSCG acts as a central hub for our partner agencies
throughout the Asia Pacific region - this hub has a team of over sixty
account managers, 3D modelers, designers and production crew and a full
in-house development team. The development team within Interactive
specialise in e-commerce and relationship-based web sites using a variety of
Java technologies as well as XML, SQL and many web-based interface
technologies.

Report Matrix
The successful applicant will report primarily to the Technical Director,
Joe Cincotta, and secondly to the General Manager of the Interactive unit,
Jeff Perlman.
There are weekly 'work in progress' meetings to discuss the status of
current projects, which all Euro interactive developers attend with the
Technical Director and the General Manager.

Role Description
We are building web applications using Java and Java Server Pages for
complex, interactive web sites. The successful applicant will develop web
applications using a three-tier architecture model and also be exposed to
our proprietary e-relationship environment.
The right person for this position is not only a great Java developer who
understands SQL, but also a self-motivated team player who can communicate
effectively with others and take on components of the overall application
design and specification process.
Other features of this position include:
The opportunity to deal directly with clients.
Scope for research and development, as well as implementation.
Flexibility to help drive future directions of the Interactive department.

Conditions
Euro Interactive prides itself on a fun and flexible working environment.
There is no dress code, the hours are flexible and we encourage social
interaction with the whole team. We try to maintain a flat team model
x~d
instead of a rigid hierarchy, which allows for the free flow of ideas and
uninhibited communication between all members of the team.

Expressions of Interest
Please contact Joe Cincotta directly with a resume and reference sheet to
express your interest in this position.
