Arrrgh! It was working fine yesterday, I swear!
I have an EJB.
It has two methods:
java.lang.String getTest1()
java.lang.String t = "Hi There!";
system.out.println("returning \"" + t + "\".");
return t;
}
java.math.BigDecimal getTest2()
java.math.BigDecimal t = new BigDecimal(123);
system.out.println("returning " + t + ".");
return t;
}
I call it from a client like this:
t = (MyEJB) home.getByPrimaryKey(new BigDecimal(1));
System.out.println("test1 " + t.getTest1());
System.out.println("test2 " + t.getTest2());
Now on the server, both methods seem to run fine. I get correct debugging
output in the logs directory. But on the client, the method that returns the
BigDecimal crashes. I get a java.lang.RuntimeError with a null message and
"no stack trace available".
It looks to me like the MyEJB_stub is doing the wrong thing, somehow. So I
redeployed the bean from scratch and got a whole new Client jar to compile
the client with. Same bug. I was flinging big decimals around *fine*
yeseterday. In fact, the findbyprimarykey takes a bigdecimal as a parameter,
and it works great - pulls the right record out of the database and
everything.
Weird bug. Any ideas?
