===================
Chris James - Progress Software:
The Role of Messaging in Enterprise Applications

  More and more these days there is a need for
  applications to communicate, usually termed B2B.
  Now we are beginning to see new standards such
  as JMS to assist us in facilitating these
  communications.
  The presentation will be discussing the role of
  Messaging in Enterprise applications. Covering
  issues such as B2B, Transaction Integrity
  (guaranteed delivery), Publish/Subscribe, Point
  to Point Messaging and maybe XML.

  Chris will be using Progress Software's SonicMQ
  (it is a message broker which uses JMS) to
  demonstrate the various types of messaging and
  where they can be used.

Chris will be bringing developer CDROMs to distribute
and maybe a few other giveaways...
=====================

Java beginners are welcome and will find plenty
of brains to pick.
Please pass this message on to your Java developer
colleagues, thanks!
