Java and/or C++ Internet Software Engineer positions for an Atlanta based
Pre-IPO e-commerce company.

This company is strategically positioned to provide integral functionality
to Affiliate Marketing (the promotion of retailers' products on other
websites) and Merchandising on the internet by literally changing the way
affiliate marketing is conducted.  This company's multi-site e-Commerce
approach currently enables over 100,000 owners of high-quality websites to
build profitable relationships with retailers and consumers without giving
away visitors or adding infrastructure.  In this new model of Affiliate
Marketing the website owners can open on their site major national-brand
recognized retailers' stores and sell products from these national retailers
that are relevant to their content.   The consumers purchase products from
the affiliate retailers without "clicking through" or leaving the original
company's website.  This functionality is proving to be the perfect solution
to many industries including a network of 210 medium sized banks that
through this company's technology now have the ability to provide end-users
with access to this company's secure shopping network directly from the
bank's Web site. This company ensures the "look and feel" of the bank's Web
site will be maintained throughout the end-users' shopping experience. Once
shopping is complete, end-users will resume their banking activities at the
bank's Web site. The ability to offer end-users shopping directly from their
highly-trusted bank's Web site is a key value-added benefit.  This company's
patent-pending process currently allows brand name retailers to insert
customized storefronts into thousands of relevant content websites.
Consumers buy directly from the retailers they know and trust while this
company manages all aspects of the powerful sales channel for the retailer.

Affiliate marketing now drives 13% of all online sales, according to
Forrester Research. By 2003, Forrester predicts 21% will come through
affiliate websites.

This company has secured strong funding, its products and services are
already in the market, and they are now in a high-growth phase.  They are
looking for those who can contribute to their efforts to extend the
functionality of their patent pending technology and who flourish in a
high-energy, rapidly changing, start-up environment.  The position of
Internet Software Engineer requires someone who is technically capable of
taking ownership of assignments and see them through to completion.  In this
position you will work on a large scale e-commerce application as either
part of the front-end development team or as part of the server development
team.  This distributed application is built using the latest technology
including ASP, C++, Java, COM, and object oriented databases.  The required
skills for this position include a minimum of 2 to 4 years of application
development experience using either C++ or Java and professional experience
using ASP.  JavaScript and/or COM experience is desired.  Some experience in
Internet development is also required.

In this position you will be getting in at near ground-level of this
company.  Flexibility and creativity in compensation plans will be
