Hi all I am using RH5.2 and it installs a way old version of GTK. However, on the CD is a much newer version, in RPM format. When I try to install it, the system whinges about dependencies, and won't do it. I tried to --force install it, but no dice. Is there a way to install the new version over the top of the old one, or am I wasting my time trying? Also, has anyone had any success with any X based ICQ clones? i.e. KICQ, KXICQ, GTKICQ ?? The new version of GTK is for GTKICQ to work. AMD - K6233 64MB RAM Diamond Viper V330 3.2GB HDD - 2GB Win85 / 1GB Linux KDE PPP connection (finally!!!) Tony PS. Thanks to all who helped me with my PPP probs. They are now solved.
