As to your question, the answer can be found at www.eunuchs.org/linux
-- this is where I got mine working transparently....there is also a
link from his page you should follow...the address of that link
is...http://www.u.arizona.edu/~zdw/uniprint.html -- I now have an Epson
Stylus Color II that works transparently with Linux. :) I think there
was another modification I had to make but I'll have to look that one up
as it's been a long time since I did this :)
