By memory bootmanager from partition manager is actually an implementation of OS2 that PM uses. I have a vague recollection that one needs to reinstall bootmanager again, once Linux is installed, to get things back to normal. This I have read, I think, in one of the APV Linux columns, though it was a convoluted exercise which means it was a hack ? I also recall that usingf OS2 Warp3 and PM bootmanager caused a few inconsistencies. Mainly one or other not recognising the partition table, and wanting to overwrite the MBR. hope this points to a new line of enquiry. LH
