Can you dial in and run PPP completely manually? When I've had LCP timeout request errors, it has been because my PPP and their PPP were not negotiating. While I was setting up, it was my PPP not having suitable options, I ran PPP manually as per the howto and got it working, then I could do it automatically. Nowadays it's because I have a fixedIP and if that isn't available cos my old PPP is hanging around, PPP gets upset. So... check with your ISP about what you should be doing, if you need PAP or CHAP. If not, then follow the instructions in the PPP HOWTO and see what happens. Zebee
