Almost every day, guess thats one of the hidden benefits of a static ip! I run:- tcplogd icmplogd xlogmaster 2.0.36 kernel When they portscan, I get a pop up from xlogmaster, do a traceroute then send an email of complaint to their upstream provider. My inetd.conf, even has telnet disabled, I use only ssh2 now. The only eternal service I have is a ftp server. > >-- >Jason Stokes: jstok@bluedog.apana.org.au terry -- **** To reach me, use tjporter@odyssey.apana.org.au **** My Computer is powered by GNU-LINUX, and has been up 2 weeks 1 day 14 hours 9 minutes .........NOTE Spam protection in use...................
