> Hi, I have a friend who has the Ensoniq Audio PCI (es1370) working in his machine on Red Hat Linux 5.2. He used a driver from OSS (http://www.opensound.com). It took him ages to figure out how to use it, but I've seen it work... Also, I have heard the the 2.2 kernel will support that card and have heard that if you are willing to risk your system to a developement kernel, get the latest developement kernel (2.1.*) and install that then recompile and Plug 'n' _PRAY_, as you put it. :-) Hope this helps.
