Quite,

a new drive (4.3G) was installed for Linux, and NT assigned 750 Mb as FAT on
the second IDE channel master. (Inadvertently formatted hdc5 as NTFS and was
annoyed that I could not mount it until the "light" worked,in my brain, that
is ). One recurrent hassle is that I have to log as SU to set permissions
every time I ru Linux on the shared drive.

I actually run a /dev/fda as a physically removable unit to either run NTSP4
or Linux RH5.2 A second internal drive is used as a paging device for nt,
and as extra storage and backup for the NT system.
