Here's an interesting one that's got me stumped.. I'm using a standard Microsoft (serial) mouse which works fine in the console with gpm and under all things microsoft. Unfortunately when running under X the right mouse button simply refuses to do anything. xmseconfig has been tested with different options (emulate3button etc) yet the picture of a mouse never shows a 'right click'. With emulate3buttons turned on it will do a middle button when the left and right are clicked - so X is at least receiving a click from it. ATM i'm running SuSE 5.3 and I'm pretty sure I didn't have this problem when running Slackware a year or so ago. Also, X will no longer run if gpm is running (also worked under slackware). I've tried a few of the gpm options but nothing seems to have fixed that one. At least my mouse isn't buzzing :) The line in from the modem gives enough of that..
