Uninstalled TB, reinstalled TB, the apt-get seems to have landed me 3.0.5 however - no issues, though, because now the program is asking me for unfamiliar file types at last! Still not perfect - can't seem to get access to many .mpg or .wmv files, which is a problem for work (surveillence videos, for example), but it's nothing major now that I can actually load files (such as .html or .pdf) without breaking a sweat now. Thanks =)
