Hi all,
I am using Linux in text mode command line and in order not to have the
reading of texts on the screen to taxing on the eyes, I use white
background and black foreground it is perfect except I do not know how to
set the border as well white.
In DOS a command is simply created the result is a perfect setting of white
page type of screen .....
---------------------
; the name of this file is border.asm
A
MOV AH,OB ; set color palette on CGA
MOV BL,7 ; to produce a white (7) border
INT 10 ; have BIOS do it
RET ; back to DOS
RCX
7
N BORDER.COM
W
Q
---------------------
then DEBUG < border.asm
So what could be the equivalent in Linux to have a white border in text mode?.
Could you email me the answer as well as posting it since my news server is
pretty erratic.
Many Thanks,
