Hello!

I have a question about my Linux partiton.

After running df, I find the following:

Filesystem 1024-block Used Available Capacity Mounted on
.. ... ... ... ... .....
/dev/hda5 460440 197714 238133 45% /

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

But when I run fdisk, I find the following:

Device Boot Begin Start End Blocks Id System
... .. .. .. .. .. . ..
/dev/hda5 763 763 1006 491872+ 83 Linux native
/dev/hda6 1007 1007 1017 22144+ 82 Linux swap

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can anyone tell me 1) why the number of Blocks used in /dev/hda5
is different when I run df and fdisk?
			   2) Why the (Used + Available) is not equal to
the number of 1024-block when I run df?

Is it due to the bad sectors in my Linux partitions?
If it is, then is there anyway to fix it?

	Thanks for you help!
