I have linux 1.2.8  and I change my video card to Trident TVGA 9440AGI
pci video card one meag   (up to 2 ) I can not get to xwindows.... I
change xf86confg file to take out all 1152@900 virtual Screens in both
/ete/ and  /user/x11r6/lib/x11/ diractories and still Xwindows is
reading a setting of 1152@900 for virtual Screen so it crostes on to
little memory....
