rpm -i <wheretogetit>
eg
rpm -i /mnt/cdrom/RPMS/some.packager.version.rpm

rpm --help (two hyphens) for a syntax summary

wheretogetit can be an ftp URL such as
ftp://redhat.com/pub/updates/i486/some.new.packager.version.rpm

and it can be nfs-mounted.
