I'm quite interested in learning more about this Tcl/Tk fast prototyping stuff. Most people seem to agree Tcl sucks as a language for serious development and this is also my impression aftering reading a few pages of Welsh's book. Since I've studied Scheme and like it much more than Tcl or another scripting language and the fact that GNU will be using some kind of Scheme over Tcl/Tk as the extension language, I'm more interested in either Elk or STk. After two days of struggling (believe me, I even use gdb to trace the code!) I finally installed Elk properly but just to find out its support for fast prototyping and OOP *extremely* primitive. Before I go ahead to install STk, I'd like to hear from someone who has used STk. Anyone? Thanks! --- Kent Tong Freeman Installer ==> http://www.netnet.net/users/freeman/
