I'm having a problem with TeX in the Debian 1.1.1 Distribution. Whenevr I try to compile a document I get an error message: Cannot open default format file When I used to use Slackware TeX ran OK straight from the install. Any clues as to some config files or config process I should run? If you mail a reply, mail to jfoster@davros.eas.gu.edu.au Thanx John
