Help! I have a PCI/I-486SP3 motherboard with on-board SCSI controller (NCR53C810). I also have a PCI Diamond Stealth video card, an IDE PAS 16 sound card, and IDE card for my greyscale hand-held scanner. Quite simply Linux will not boot! I insert the n_53c7xx.s boot disk, start the computer, get to the boot prompt, and hit return. I get the following: Loading Ramdisk.......... Loading Linux... And then all hell breaks loose! An error message is displayed (something about PCI) which is lost in a torrent of numbers which spray down the screen, like this: [0e434534] [3453caa] [2459b44].... These just keep going and going. Whats happening? Jerome Munchenberg
