I have fixed this - thanks to the xwindows program netcfg.

Is there somewhere I can get some information on how to install packages
and what directories thinks should go into. Ie is there some HOW-TO that
explains various xwindows apps other thank me just falling over them as I
search the distribution.

On that note - what directory would I install netscape into ? I have done
the following for now - I untared into /usr/local/netscape3.0/ and then
linked netscape to /usr/bin/netscape ????
