OK here is the normal stuff Hardware: i486dx2 66 20 meg Ram, SB Pro 2, 2xspin cdu-33a OS: Slackware 3.1 (slackware 96) with 2.x.x kernel. I have the correct stuff in the lilo header for the CDROM ( I know that they dont autodetect) and seem to have the correct device installed /dev/sonycd. The CDROM isnt recognised and I havent the time atm to track down the problem. These used to be a popular drive, anyone still using one and had similar problems?
