has anyone successfuly configured thier XFree86 server with a
Trident 9440 chip?

When, after (seemingly) successfuly running xf86config, I startx
and get a message saying "Please remove the Clocks statement
in your XF86Config file" (or similar).

Examination of said file shows that all the Clocks lines have a '#'
at the beginning.

Please add with replies/flames, a statement on which part of the
HOWTOs/READMEs I have overlooked.

TIA
