Hi,
I'd say that the problem would be that you can't use two
window managers at once - RedHat (and virtually everything else) uses
fvwm by default. The Solution is to either edit xinitrc (in
/etc/X11/xinitrc) to use mwm instead of fvwm - or edit your fvwmrc
file to include another wm. you'll notice in X that if you pick exit
window manager (Exit Fvwm actually) that you can start other window
managers (olwm, twm etc.).
the file xinitrc can be copied to your home directory as .xinitrc,
then you can edit your own local copy.
the global fvwmrc is located in /etc/X11/fvwm/system.fvwmrc and should
be copied to your home directory as .fvwmrc and edited from thre.
Hope this helps... sorry for rambling on a bit...
How'd you find the motif package anyway? I haven't bought mine yet -
been putting it off.
well, cya!
Matt
