Most people have probably known this forever, but I just noticed that
I can format 3.5in floppies to 1640 blocks (minix fs). I had been
formatting them to 1440 blocks out of habit. The extra 200 blocks are
very useful as I use floppies to backup my programming projects.
So, don't short-change yourself with floppy space in Linux.
BTW, I should have worked out that this is possible since Microsoft have
a special format on their 3.5in install disks which lets them put a 1.6M
cabinet file on each floppy. This is to try and prevent copying of the
disks.

I'd rather be juggling than doing my programming assignments...
