When I try to use the "login" command to login as another user (currently I am root), it logs me out, ie, it either displays the login prompt again (text mode) or kills the xterm (in X). What is going on? I am pretty sure I can do this on the unix machines in univ. Any idea? TIA! --- Kent Tong Freeman Installer ==> http://www.netnet.net/users/freeman/
