1. I've got color-ls working in rxvt but still don't know how to
enable color-ls (eg, make ls an alias of color-ls) in rxvt
automatically? I believe I should detect rxvt in .bashrc but
   how?

2. My /dev/ttys3 is set to major 4, minor 240. But the howto
says the minor device number should be 67. should I fix
   it? how?

3. What is resident page?

4. The howto says RTS/CTS can be enabled on a modem by executing

     stty crtscts < /dev/cuaN

Actually how does it do it? It is the redirection that is
   confusing me the most.

What is the role of stty anyway? Is it associating some
parameters to a particular line so that getty will use
them? If this is the case, how come we can't use say
the INIT string setting in /etc/conf.uugetty?

5. Is rz/sz free? how come -DREGISTERED is automatically included
   when building the source?

6. Do I need to keep the linux kernel source on the machine? I
needed the .h files when compiling rz/sz but I doubt the usefulness
of other parts of the source. Am I right?

7. How to install the man pages that are already in plain
text format as opposed to the nroff format?

8. Do I have to run uugetty from inittab? Running it from inittab
means whenever I am using Linux the modem will receive any phone
call into my home. I can see uugetty requires two things:

   a) to be respawned when it exits.
   b) to be started even no one is logged in.

I think a) can be implemented by a loop in a shell script and
   b) can be by the nohup command. Can I run uugetty in this
   manner?

9. How do I figure what character sequence is produced by a particular
   key press?

10. Is /usr/local/bin obsolette in FSTND? There is nothing in this
    directory on my machine.
