Can anyone help me? I have been running various versions of linux kernels for about one year and a half now. Last version I was running stably was 2.0 But, in the last few months I have had a mysterious problem which occurs across many different kernels which makes me think it could be a hardware problem. The problem is this: I boot up linux and it runs like a dream for about 10 mins and then it gets this keyboard stickiness and finally hangs and won't allow any input at all until restarting. Initially I thought it was a kernel conflict - maybe IRQ but I have pulled apart my PC and, taking the LINUX slakware manual's advice, removed any potentially offending bits - ethernet cards - CD ROM Drive - serial cards - mouse drive - until I have literally a BARE machine. Then I even tried installing a BARE kernel but I still get the same stickiness - everything else works fine. I don't think it's the keyboard because I have tried another one and experience the same problem. I don't think it's memory problems either - I have 24mb RAM and 400mb HD Any ideas what it could possibly be? If not, do you know any PC repair places that are familiar with linux? IN SYDNEY! Many thanks Justine Humphry
