It will if you ask it.  The 'Frequently asked questions' document,
available from the Arena default page has a question 'How can I see
HTML errors'.  The answer is to set the EDITOR environment variable to
your favourite editor (or use the '-editor <editor>' option when
starting the program), then press the 'Edit' button.  You'll then see
the HTML of the current page in your editor with the error messages in
there as comments.
