Hi all, Trying to compile a new kernel for 2.0.x and I see the following error pop up:- make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot' make[1]: Nothing to be done for `dep'. make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot' rm -f .hdepend gawk -f scripts/depend.awk `find /usr/src/linux/include -name \*.h ! -name modversions.h -print` > ..hdepend gawk: scripts/depend.awk:17: (FILENAME=/usr/src/linux/include/asm-sparc/vac-ops.h FNR=11) fatal: too many pipes or input files open make: *** [.hdepend] Error 2 Does anyone know what is causing this and how to solve it? I'll summarize the results for all. I mustn't be the only one who has seen this! (Hopefully!)
