I recently upgraded my kernel from 2.1.2 to 2 when I had finished everything appeared to work fine except the 'setterm' command gets an error saying cannot find 'linux in termcap' at start up. I also get a simular message when I try and use jed. termcap exists in /etc and the initalization files are exactly the same as in the live file system on the Slackware distribution. Any suggestions ? Chris
